NAVIGATION (FIRE APPLIANCES) REGULATIONS 1968 - REG 9
Fire patrol to be maintained
- (1)
- The master of a ship must cause a fire patrol system to be maintained at
all times in the ship sufficient to enable any outbreak of fire to be detected
promptly.
Penalty: 1 penalty unit.
- (2)
- An offence against subregulation (1) is an offence of strict
liability.
