MIGRATION REFORM (TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS) REGULATIONS - REG 30E
Combined applications for review by the Refugee Review Tribunal
- (1)
- If, before 1 September 1994:
- (a)
- 2 or more applicants have combined
their applications for:
- (i)
- determinations by the Minister that they are
refugees within the meaning of the old Act; or
- (ii)
- the grant of entry
permits referred to in subparagraph 39 (a) (ii) of the Reform Act;
in Australia, in a way permitted by the Migration (1989) Regulations or the
Migration (1993) Regulations; and
- (b)
- the Minister's decisions in respect of
2 or more of those applicants are that Protection (Class AZ) visas not be
granted; and
- (c)
- the Minister's decisions are RRT-reviewable decisions;
the applicants referred to in paragraph (b) may combine their applications for
review by the Refugee Review Tribunal of the Minister's decisions.
- (2)
- Subregulation (1) applies to an application for review made on or after 1
August 1996.
