MIGRATION REFORM (TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS) REGULATIONS - REG 18

Non-citizens having right of permanent residence on Norfolk Island

A non-citizen who:

(a)
was in Australia (whether lawfully or not) on 1 September 1994; and

(b)
has the right of permanent residence on Norfolk Island;

is taken to have been granted a Norfolk Island Permanent Resident visa on 1 September 1994.
