IMPORTED FOOD CONTROL REGULATIONS 1993 - REG 29

How is food to be analysed under the Scheme?

                Food required to be analysed under the Scheme may be subjected to microbiological, chemical or physical analysis, or any other kind of analysis, necessary to determine whether:

                (a)    it poses a risk to human health; or

               (b)    it complies with the Food Standards Code.
