HUMAN SERVICES (MEDICARE) REGULATIONS 2017 - REG 33
Mental health care by medical practitioners A prescribed function of the Chief Executive Medicare is to
establish and maintain a register of medical practitioners who may provide
focused psychological strategies under the initiative known as the Better
Access to Psychiatrists, Psychologists and General Practitioners through the
Medicare Benefits Schedule (Better Access) Initiative administered by the
Health Department.
