Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) Where the President of a Court of Inquiry is satisfied that it is necessary to do so in the interests of the defence of the Commonwealth or of fairness to a person who the President considers may be affected by the inquiry, the President may order that a prospective witness not be present while the evidence of another witness is taken.
(2) Where the President of a Court of Inquiry makes an order under subregulation (1), the President may authorize a person to take such reasonable action as is required to give effect to that order.
