CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 61.1105
Limitations on exercise of privileges of aerial application ratings--recent experience(1) The holder of an aerial application rating is authorised to exercise the privileges of the rating only if the holder has, within the previous 12 months, completed at least 50 hours of aerial application operations below 500 ft AGL.
(2) The holder is taken to meet the requirements of subregulation (1) if the holder:
(a) has successfully completed an operator proficiency check in aerial application operations below 500 ft AGL within the 12 months before the month in which the exercise of the privileges occurs; or
(b) has successfully completed an
aerial application proficiency check within the previous 12 months.
