CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 42.920
Documents to be sent to CASA and registered operator(1) If a continuing airworthiness management organisation for an aircraft issues an airworthiness review certificate for the aircraft, the organisation must give a copy of the certificate to the following persons within 10 days after issuing the certificate:
(b) if the organisation is not the registered operator of the aircraft--the registered operator.
(2) If the organisation extends the time for which the certificate is in force, the organisation must give a copy of the certificate, with the extension recorded on it, to the following persons within 10 days after extending the time for which the certificate is in force:
(b) if the organisation is not the registered operator of the aircraft--the registered operator.
(3) An offence against subregulation (1) or (2) is an
offence of strict liability.
