CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 42.765

    To issue a certificate of release to service for an aircraft in relation to maintenance carried out on the aircraft, an individual must:

  (a)   sign the certificate; and

  (b)   record the date and time of issue on the certificate.
