CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 173.200
Discontinuing design work on terminal instrument flight procedures of a particular type(1) If a certified designer ceases to carry on design work on terminal instrument flight procedures of a particular type, the certified designer must give written notice to that effect to CASA, and, if any of the procedures are published in the AIP, the AIS, within 7 days after ceasing to carry on the design work concerned.
(2) Subregulation (1) does not apply if, having regard to the
certified designer's circumstances, it is not reasonably practicable for
the designer to give CASA or, if applicable, the AIS, at least 7 days notice
and the notice is given as soon as is reasonably practicable.
