CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 139.840
Medical standard of firefighters(1) The people employed as firefighters must meet the medical standard for firefighters set out in the Manual of Standards.
(2) There must be a system of continuing medical checks for the
people employed as firefighters that ensures that the ARFFS provider knows
whether or not those people continue to meet that standard.
