CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 129.080
Foreign air transport operations--common language for crew(1) The operator of an aircraft engaged in a flight that is a foreign air transport operation contravenes this subregulation if all crew members for the flight are not able to communicate orally with each other in a common language.
(2) A person commits an offence of strict liability if the person contravenes subregulation (1).
