Commonwealth Consolidated RegulationsFor the purposes of subsection 40J (5) of the Act, the use of the name Hermitage to describe and present wine is exempted from the operation of subsections 40C (1), (2) and (3) and section 40E of the Act if:
(a) the name is used as a synonym for the grape variety Shiraz ; and
(b) the wine originates in Australia; and
(c) the wine is sold in a country other than an EC country.
