Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in these Regulations or the Defence (Personnel) Regulations 2002 , persons qualified for appointment to the Australian Army Legal Corps may be appointed to the Standby Reserve.
(2) An officer appointed or transferred to the Australian Army Legal Corps for whom no suitable appointment or duty is available may be transferred to the Standby Reserve.
(3) Officers appointed or transferred under this regulation may, notwithstanding anything contained in these Regulations or the Defence (Personnel) Regulations 2002 , remain on the Standby Reserve until they reach the age of retirement.
