Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) Every medical officer who in the course of his duty as an officer of the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps medically examines or attends any member suffering from any infectious or contagious disease shall immediately report the case in writing to the proper military authority. The report shall include particulars of the name, address, and corps of the member, and of the nature of the disease, and any other information necessary for the purpose of taking steps to prevent the disease from affecting any other member, or otherwise necessary for the efficiency of the Army.
(2) Every medical officer who in the course of his duty as an officer of the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps is required to make any comment or recommendation on any report or evidence relating to a member suffering from any disease, or to make a report of an examination of any such member shall in the comment, recommendation or report, state all such things as are necessary to be stated for the purpose of preserving the efficiency and safeguarding the health of the Army.
