AUSTRALIAN MILITARY COURT RULES 2007 - REG 19

                If a summons is to be served on an accused person who is a member of the Defence Force, the chain of command of the accused person must:

                (a)    personally serve; or

               (b)    cause to be personally served; or

                (c)    attempt to personally serve;

the summons on the accused person.
