Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) This Act has effect as if, on 1 July each year, the rent free area applicable to a person who is not a member of a couple were replaced with the amount that is, on that day, the pension free area applicable to a person who is not a member of a couple.
(2) This Act has effect as if, on 1 July each year, the rent free area applicable to a person who is partnered were replaced with the amount that is, on that day, the pension free area applicable to a person who is partnered.
