Application of the Ombudsman Act 1976 to Telstra In determining whether Telstra is a prescribed authority for the
purposes of the Ombudsman Act 1976 , assume that each reference to
the Commonwealth in the definition of Commonwealth - controlled company in
subsection 3(1) of that Act includes a reference to a category A hybrid
- security issuer company.
