TOBACCO ADVERTISING PROHIBITION ACT 1992 - SECT 34A

(1)

As soon as practicable after each 31 December occurring after 1 January 2001, the Minister must cause to be prepared a report on:

(a) the number and nature of any contraventions of the Act occurring in the preceding 12 months; and
(b) action taken by the Minister or a Commonwealth agency in response to each contravention.

(2)

A person who prepares a report under subsection (1) must give a copy to the Minister.

(3)

The Minister must cause copies of the report to be laid before each House of the Parliament within 15 sitting days of that House after receiving it.
