TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1997 - SECT 297
Authorisation by or under law If information or a document is disclosed to a person for a
particular purpose as permitted by section 280 or this section, the
person must not disclose or use the information or document unless the
disclosure or use is required or authorised by or under law.
