SOCIAL SECURITY (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1999 - SECT 3
Interpretation(1) Unless a contrary intention appears, an expression that is defined in Schedule 1 has in this Act the meaning given in that Schedule.
(2) Unless a contrary intention appears, an expression that is used in the 1991 Act has the same meaning, when used in this Act, as in the 1991 Act.
(5) To the extent that a provision of this Act relates to a double orphan pension, a reference in the provision to a person includes a reference to an approved care organisation.
(6) Unless a contrary intention appears, a reference in this Act
(other than section 243) to this Act includes a reference to
regulations made under section 243.
