Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A Collector of Customs shall not grant a Certificate of Clearance in respect of a ship about to depart from an Australian port to a place outside Australia until the master of the ship has declared to the Collector the nationality of the ship.
(2) A declaration made under subsection (1) shall be recorded on the Certificate of Clearance.
