SUPERANNUATION GUARANTEE (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1992 - SECT 31
Nominal interest component The nominal interest component in relation to an employer for a
quarter is the amount that would accrue by way of interest on the total of the
employer's individual superannuation guarantee shortfalls for the quarter
if interest were calculated at the rate applicable under the regulations for
the purposes of this subsection from the beginning of the quarter in question
until the date on which superannuation guarantee charge in relation to the
total would be payable under this Act .
