Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Commissioner may, either generally or as otherwise provided by the instrument of delegation, by writing signed by him or her, delegate to a person all or any of the Commissioner's powers under this Act, the superseded Act, regulations under this Act or regulations under the superseded Act, other than this power of delegation.
(2) A power so delegated, when exercised by the delegate, shall, for the purposes of this Act, the superseded Act, regulations under this Act or regulations under the superseded Act as the case requires, be deemed to have been exercised by the Commissioner.
(3) A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power by the Commissioner.
