ROAD TRANSPORT REFORM (DANGEROUS GOODS) ACT 1995 - SECT 23

Self incrimination no excuse

                   A person is not excused from answering a question asked under section 18 on the ground that the answer to the question might tend to incriminate the person, but, except for a corporation:

                     (a)  the answer to the question; or

                     (b)  any information, document or thing obtained as a direct or indirect consequence of the answer to the question;

is not admissible in evidence against the person in criminal proceedings other than proceedings for an offence against section 22.
