REFERENDUM (MACHINERY PROVISIONS) ACT 1984 - SECT 107A
Provision for Court to have regard to certain rejected ballot papersIn making its decision on a petition, the Court may:
(a) have regard to postal ballot papers rejected at the preliminary scrutiny because of paragraph 7 of Schedule 4 if the Court is satisfied that the votes marked on the ballot papers were recorded prior to the close of voting; and
(b) have regard to any declaration vote ballot papers (including
postal ballot papers) rejected at the preliminary scrutiny if the Court is of
the opinion that the ballot papers should not have been rejected.
