RESERVE BANK ACT 1959 - SECT 37
Signature on notes(1) The Australian notes issued in pursuance of this Part shall bear the signature of the Secretary to the Department of the Treasury or of such other officer of the Department of the Treasury as the Treasurer directs, and the signature of the Governor or, if the Governor so directs, of the Deputy Governor, or a staff member of the Reserve Bank Service, specified by the Governor.
(2) The signatures may be made in the handwriting of those
persons or may be made by engraving or by any other process determined by the
Bank.
