RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1992 - SECT 197

Causing interference etc.

             (1)  A person is guilty of an offence if:

                     (a)  the person engages in conduct; and

                     (b)  the person is reckless as to whether the conduct will result in:

                              (i)  substantial interference with radiocommunications; or

                             (ii)  substantial disruption or disturbance of radiocommunications.

Penalty:  Imprisonment for 1 year.

             (2)  In this section:

"engage in conduct" means:

                     (a)  do an act; or

                     (b)  omit to perform an act.
