Commonwealth Consolidated ActsSubject to section 196, a person must not use a transmitter in a way likely to interfere with radiocommunications if the person knows that such interference is likely to prejudice the safe operation of an vessel, aircraft or space object.
Penalty:
(a) if the offender is an individual--imprisonment for 5 years; or
(b) otherwise--5,000 penalty units.
