PAYMENT SYSTEMS (REGULATION) ACT 1998 - SECT 11
Reserve Bank may designate payment systems(1) The Reserve Bank may , by notifiable instrument, designate a payment system if it considers that designating the sy stem is in the public interest.
(2) The designation has effect until it is revoked.
