PROTECTION OF THE SEA (PREVENTION OF POLLUTION FROM SHIPS) ACT 1983 - SECT 29A
Service on master or owner of ship(1) A document to be served on the master or any other member of the crew of a ship, or on the owner of a ship, in respect of an offence against this Act may be served on the agent of the ship instead.
(2) A document served on the agent of a ship under subsection
(1) is taken to have been served on the master or other member of the
crew of the ship, or on the owner of the ship, as the case requires.
