Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Minister may cause to be issued to an inspector, other than a member of a police force, an identity card in a form approved by the Minister by instrument in writing.
(2) A person who ceases to be an inspector shall forthwith return his or her identity card to the Minister.
(3) A person who contravenes subsection (2) is guilty of an offence punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding $100.
(4) Subsection (3) is an offence of strict liability.
