PROCEEDS OF CRIME ACT 2002 - SECT 40

Contravening ancillary orders relating to foreign property

                   A person is guilty of an offence if:

                     (a)  the court makes an order under paragraph 39(1)(g); and

                     (b)  the person contravenes the order.

Maximum penalty:    Imprisonment for 5 years or 300 penalty units, or both.

Note:          An order under paragraph 39(1)(g) requires a person whose property is covered by a restraining order to do anything necessary or convenient to bring the property within the jurisdiction.
