A police officer may:
(a) enter upon land, or upon or into premises;
(b) search the land or premises for any property‑tracking
document in relation to an indictable offence; and
(c) seize any document found in the course of the search that the
police officer believes, on reasonable grounds, to be a
property‑tracking document in relation to an indictable offence;
but
only if the entry, search or seizure, as the case may be, is made:
(d) with the consent of the occupier of the land or premises; or
(e) under a warrant issued under section 71.
(2)
A police officer is not empowered to do anything under this section
after the commencement of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 unless it is done
under a search warrant issued under section 71 of this Act for which an
application was made under that section before that commencement.
