PRODUCTIVITY COMMISSION ACT 1998 - SECT 16
Written statements etc. to be made public(a) the Commission is required to hold hearings for the purposes of an inquiry; and
(b) a person gives written evidence to the inquiry or gives or produces a document to the Commission in connection with the inquiry;
the Commission must make available to the public in any way it thinks fit the contents of the statement or document, other than any matter:
(c) that the person objects to being made public; and
(d) the evidence of which the Commission is satisfied would have
been taken in private if it had been given orally at a hearing and the person
giving it had objected to giving it in public.
