Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Commissioner may seal a duplicate of a patent if satisfied that the patent is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
(2) If:
(a) the Commissioner is satisfied that particulars on a patent are incorrect because of an error or omission by the Commissioner; and
(b) the patent is returned to the Commissioner;
the Commissioner may seal a duplicate of the patent.
