Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to section 100A, the Commissioner must grant a standard patent, by sealing a standard patent in the approved form, if:
(a) there is no opposition to the grant; or
(b) in spite of opposition, the Commissioner's decision, or the decision on appeal, is that a standard patent should be granted.
(2) A standard patent must be granted within the prescribed period.
