OFFSHORE PETROLEUM AND GREENHOUSE GAS STORAGE ACT 2006 - SECT 368
Greenhouse gas holding lease transfer--transferee to be treated as applicant(1) This section applies if a transfer of a greenhouse gas holding lease is registered under section 530:
(a) after an application has been made under section 361 for the grant of a greenhouse gas injection licence over a block or blocks in relation to which the greenhouse gas holding lease is in force; and
(b) before any action has been taken by the responsible Commonwealth Minister under section 362 or 363 in relation to the application.
Transferee to be treated as applicant
(2) After the transfer, sections 361 to 364 and Part
3.8 have effect in relation to the application as if any reference in
those sections and that Part to the applicant were a reference to the
transferee.
