OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (MARITIME INDUSTRY) ACT 1993 - SECT 22

Duties o f persons erecting or installing plant in a workplace

                   A person who erects or installs any plant in a workplace must take all reasonable steps to ensure that the plant is not erected or installed in such a way that it is unsafe for employees, contractors or other persons who use the plant or constitutes a risk to their health.

Penalty:  200 penalty units.
