OMBUDSMAN ACT 1976 - SECT 21

Appointment of Ombudsman

             (1)  An Ombudsman shall be appointed by the Governor‑General.

             (2)  An Ombudsman holds office on such terms and conditions (if any) in respect to matters not provided for in this Act as are prescribed.
