NORTHERN TERRITORY (SELF-GOVERNMENT) ACT 1978 - SECT 48

Commonwealth Auditor-General may audit Territory accounts

                   It is lawful for the Auditor‑General for the Commonwealth to accept appointment as auditor under any enactment relating to the audit of the accounts of the Territory or the audit of the accounts of a body corporate established for a public purpose by or under any other enactment.
