Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Before the trial in a federal criminal proceeding begins, the prosecutor or defendant may apply to the court for the court to hold a conference of the parties to consider issues relating to any disclosure, in the trial, of information that relates to national security or any disclosure, of information in the trial, that may affect national security, including:
(a) whether the prosecutor or defendant is likely to be required to give notice under section 24; and
(b) whether the parties wish to enter into an arrangement of the kind mentioned in section 22.
(2) The court must hold the conference as soon as possible after the application is made.
