NATIONAL MEASUREMENT ACT 1960 - SECT 18D
Delegation by the Chief Metrologist(1) The Chief Metrologist may delegate all or any of his or her functions or powers under this Act or the regulations to an APS employee within the National Measurement Institute who has the expertise appropriate to the function or power delegated.
(2) The delegation must be in writing.
(3) In exercising functions or powers under a delegation, the
delegate must comply with any directions of the Chief Metrologist.
