NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION COUNCIL ACT 1994 - SECT 24

(1)

The Council must, as soon as practicable after 30 September in each year, prepare a report of its operations during the year ended on the preceding 30 June.

(2)

A report prepared under subsection (1) must include:

(a)

a copy of the report the Council receives under section 23 and copies of the reports for the year that it receives from State and Territory Ministers under corresponding legislation; and

(b)

the Council's overall assessment of the implementation and effectiveness of national environment protection measures having regard to all of the reports referred to in paragraph (a).

(3)

A copy of the report is to be laid before each House of the Parliament within 7 sitting days of that House, after the Council has formally adopted the report.
