Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to subsection (2), an inspector who has entered premises under section 27 may, to the extent that it is reasonably necessary for the purpose of finding out whether this Act, the regulations, procedures determined under section 9, or determinations under section 7, 10 or 13B have, been complied with, require a person to answer any question put by the inspector and to produce any books, records or documents requested by the inspector.
(2) An inspector is not entitled to make a requirement of a person under subsection (1) unless the inspector produces his or her identity card for inspection by the person.
