Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) If, on an application made by an inspector, a Magistrate is satisfied, by information on oath, that it is reasonably necessary that the inspector should, for the purposes of finding out whether the requirements of this Act, the regulations, procedures determined under section 9, or determinations under section 7, 10 or 13B, are being, or have been, met, have access to premises, the Magistrate may issue a warrant naming the inspector and authorising him or her, with such assistance, and by such force, as is necessary and reasonable:
(a) to enter the premises; and
(b) to exercise those powers in relation to the premises.
(2) The warrant must state:
(a) whether entry is authorised to be made at any time of the day or night or during specified hours of the day or night; and
(b) a day, not being later than 6 months after the day of issue of the warrant, upon which the warrant ceases to have effect.
