MUTUAL RECOGNITION ACT 1992 - SECT 25
Interim deemed registration(1) A person who lodges a notice in accordance with section 19 with a local registration authority of a State is, pending the grant or refusal of registration in accordance with Division 2, taken to be registered as provided in section 20.
(2) Such registration is called interim deemed registration in this Act.
(3) Interim deemed registration in one State does not of itself
provide a basis for registration in another State.
