MARITIME POWERS ACT 2013 - SECT 58

    A maritime officer may read, make readings from , or require the person in charge of a vessel , installation or aircraft to show the officer readings of , navigation al or other instruments that relat e to the operation s of a vessel , installation or aircraft .

Note:   It is an offence to fail to comply with a requirement under this section: see section   103 .
