Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsThis Act shall not be taken to exclude the operation of a law of a State or of a Territory, in so far as that law relates to the registration of marriages, but a marriage solemnized after the commencement of this Act is not invalid by reason of a failure to comply with the requirements of such a law.
