MARRIAGE ACT 1961 - SECT 39L

                   The Registrar of Marriage Celebrants is not liable to an action or other proceeding for damages in respect of anything done, or omitted to be done, in good faith in:

                     (a)  the exercise or performance; or

                     (b)  the purported exercise or performance;

of powers or functions under this Act.
